Realize gear shift control: In automatic transmission models, when the waterproof micro switch on the gear lever is pressed and the corresponding operation is performed, such as pressing the side button of the gear lever to push and pull forward and backward, a signal can be sent to the vehicle's electronic control system to achieve switching between different gears (such as P, R, N, D, S, etc.). In manual transmission models, manual shifting can also be achieved by operating the switch on the gear lever and cooperating with the action of the gear lever.

Prevent misoperation: The waterproof micro switch can be linked with other systems of the vehicle to prevent misoperation. For example, only when the vehicle is in a parking state and certain conditions are met, the micro switch on the gear lever can be pressed to switch the gear from P gear to other gears, avoiding mis-touch during driving and causing wrong gear switching, thereby improving driving safety.
