The refrigerator door switch has the following main applications on the refrigerator:Control lighting
When the refrigerator door is opened, the door switch is triggered, the lighting circuit is connected, and the light in the refrigerator lights up, making it convenient for users to check the items in the refrigerator.
After closing the refrigerator door, the door switch disconnects the lighting circuit and the light goes out to save energy.
Adjust the refrigeration system
The door switch of some refrigerators is connected to the control circuit of the refrigeration system. When the refrigerator door is opened, the switch sends a signal to the control circuit to make the refrigeration system adjust the operating state appropriately, such as reducing the refrigeration power or suspending refrigeration to reduce the energy loss caused by cold air leakage.
When the refrigerator door is closed, the door switch returns to its initial state, and the refrigeration system resumes normal operation to ensure that the temperature in the refrigerator remains within the set range.
Control fan operation
In some air-cooled refrigerators, the door switch is also used to control the operation of the fan. When the refrigerator door is opened, the door switch stops the fan to prevent a large amount of cold air from blowing out and reduce the loss of cold air.
After the refrigerator door is closed, the door switch signal changes, and the fan restarts to circulate the cold air in the refrigerator to ensure uniform temperature.
