Our G19 series micro switches are mainly used in car seat adjustment in the following applications:
Adjustment position feedback: Micro switches are installed in various seat adjustment mechanisms, such as forward and backward movement, height adjustment, and backrest angle adjustment. When the seat is adjusted to a specific position, the micro switch is triggered and sends a signal to the vehicle's electronic control unit (ECU). The ECU can accurately know the current position of the seat so that it can be displayed on the in-car display or provide basic data for subsequent automatic adjustment functions.
Limit protection: Micro switches can be set at both ends of the seat adjustment stroke to play a limit role. When the seat adjustment reaches the limit position, the micro switch acts to cut off the power supply of the corresponding motor or mechanism to prevent the adjustment mechanism from being damaged due to excessive operation, and also to avoid the seat adjustment beyond the safety range, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers.
Memory function implementation
Some car seats have a memory function that can store multiple different seat position information. The micro switch cooperates with the seat adjustment motor and the electronic control system. After the user adjusts the seat to the appropriate position, the micro switch is triggered to record the position signals in each adjustment direction at this time, and these signals are stored in the vehicle's memory. When the user needs to switch to a stored seat position, the control system controls the motor to operate according to the stored micro-switch signal to adjust the seat to the corresponding position.
